COMMENT

International law, primarily the Hague Regulations and Fourth Geneva Convention, mandates that an Occupying Power (OP) must respect existing local laws and institutions, maintain public order using a law enforcement approach. However, the video shows very clearly that the Israelis are resorting to hostilities and are not enacting laws for their own security and administration, but for the benefit of their own illegally transferred people and against the owner of the land. They are creating public disorder.

The Israeli policing in the West Bank has never conformed to International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and human rights standards. It is part of having the intention to acquire the sovereignty of the occupied territory. This means that the Israelis, in their grey police fatigue, are illegally operating in the West Bank.
